KT Chaloner has more than 15 years experience across the health and fitness industry spanning many countries. Having worked with some of the leading lights in the industry and played pivotal roles in the design of new programmes rolled across several gym chains, she is well respected in her field. Voted as a top 10 personal trainer by Exorex in Men’s Health KT takes her role as personal trainer way beyond the basics.
KT Chaloner started her ‘fitness’ journey at the age of 4 after her mum could find no other way to curb her constant state of being upside down or somersaulting off the sofa and took her to her first Gymnastics class. From that point on Katie was privileged enough to both enjoy and be successful in several different sports going on to represent the North West in competitive 4-piece gymnastics and come 3rd in the National Trampolining college Championships. KT continues to enjoy a variety of sports and is now a keen surfer, but after leaving University to join the fitness world, Katie couldn’t see her life in any other industry.
Working her way up from personal training to running her own health club, KT has a great combination of practical and management experience. This is why she went on to run the UK distributor for the Les Mills programmes and headhunted to open the West Coast US office. After creating huge success for the programmes in the UK and USA, KT later went on to become the International performance improvement manager based at head office, New Zealand. From here she helped contribute to the Les Mills success story across 73 countries around the world and secured her place as a leading member of the health and fitness industry.
KT now brings her experience and working relationships with some of the UK’s most well respected industry experts to Chester and surrounding areas, aiming to provide everyone with the tools required to be fit and healthy. By working with some of the best KT has created a successful personal training studio in Chester plus a series of studio and online programmes including the popular skinny jeans school. People have reported to say KT has helped them transform their lives – both mentally and physically for a healthier version of themselves.
When KT isn’t personal training she can generally be found outdoors (come rain or shine) with her favourite little ginger dog in tow. Whether this is running, hiking, camping or enjoy a rare beach day, KT is well and truly an outdoor woman. She’s also rarely without her best friend Baxter, who often receives requests to visit the studio and seems to be known around Chester better than KT herself
