Basic Pilates 2
Perfect for those who have completed Basics 1 or who have attended a handful of classes.
This class takes place every Wednesday 11.30am-12.30pm for 5 weeks from 12th June
This course is designed as a follow on from Basic Pilates 1 and is the second in the Basic Series. During this course you will build upon your knowledge of the basics and start to challenge your brain and your body as you ask it to move with more contol, precision and coordination all whilst remembering to breath and engage the core. Sounds simple enough, but as you’ll have found in Basics 1 your core can often relax when you add movement to the mix. During Basics 1 you will have noticed an improvement in posture and awareness of your body. In Basics 2 (and later 3) we aim to make that movement less conscious with added flow. A little like driving, engaging you core will start to become a little more normal. As will standing with shoulders rolled back and down and the pelvic floor drawn up. All leading to a much better version of you.
