This Session Runs Every Tuesday at 6pm for 5 Weeks starting 30th April – 28th May
Master suspension of the silks with our Aerial Pilates Course. This programme takes all the principles of Pilates such are Breath, Control, Precision, Alignment, Flow, Centreing, control and integration and adds new dimensions. With the use of silks we can add strength, suspension and inversion which literally turn the practice of pilates on its head. You’ll still find traditional pilates moves in this programme such as the Roll Down, Roll Up, Teaser, Plank and much more, but the silks can (depending on use) either regress or progress the move meaning everyone has the opportunity to achieve it. Each week there will be dedicated time to practice inversion and master moves like the Bat and the Vampire giving you that weightless suspended feeling. You’ll start to feel your body relax and joints will have time to decompress and open up aiding in flexibility and better quality of movement.
This course is great for those who have some pilates background, but it’s not necessary. The class is maxed out at 7 meaning I am able to teach in a very hands on manner and each person can go at their own pace when learning the art of Aerial Pilates.
